About Us

Paws Across Borders was formed in 2010 and over subsequent years, we have rescued over 350 dogs. Many of the dogs are rescued from kill shelters in the States or the overcrowded shelters of Ontario. We rescue all breeds but focus on hounds and herding dogs.

Dogs are kept with us until they find homes. They are evaluated, socialized and worked with prior to being adopted. We’re proud that we have a high rate of successful placements. Every dog deserves a good home!
